Jonathan Gelfand

Jonathan Gelfand has over 25 years of experience representing clients involved in complex transactions, entertainment, new media and emerging technologies, advertising, privacy, marketing, and intellectual property matters with a focus on regulatory, compliance, cyber security, direct response marketing, multi-level marketing, and electronic retailing.

 

Jonathan served as the Chief Legal Officer for The Beachbody Company, Inc. (BODi) for almost 16 years, an industry leading health and wellness company focused on home-based workouts, connected fitness, and premium supplements, encompassing internationally recognized brands such as P90X®, Insanity®, Focus T25®, 21 Day Fix®, Beachbody on Demand, the Myx® Connected Fitness Bike, and Shakeology®.

 

After helping take BODi public in June 2021, Jonathan shifted to Executive Vice President, Business and Legal Affairs to focus on the company’s ongoing legal needs as well as exploring new business opportunities and distribution models for the company. Jonathan continues to lead the company’s Government Affairs Department and he became a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) for the United States in 2016 and for Europe in 2018. Jonathan received his BA, cum laude, in Political Science from the University of California at San Diego and earned his Juris Doctorate from Stanford Law School.
